Monocrystal gripper

Monocrystal gripper is a technological device allowing manipulation with monocrystals with weight up to 40kg in the workspace given by the reach range of the manipulator or a crane on which it's hung.

The monocrystal gripper consists of main girder on which is mounted the linear guide for shift of jaw brackets, the pneumatic clamping cylinders and the hanging eye. The grip is designed to hang on the hoist. The monocrystal gripper is designed to handle monocrystals with a diameter of 200 mm, a maximum length of 400 mm and a maximum weight of 40 kg. For the functioning of the pneumatic system it is necessary to supply 6 bar pressure air. In the event of an air loss and a with tightened brackets jaws around monocrystal the gripper clamp is secured by means of a safety valve until the supply of compressed air is restored.
